A Springfield native, John recently moved back to the Ozarks after 10 years in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining the Farm Team, he oversaw investor due diligence and managed deal screening for E8 Angels in Seattle, Washington. E8 has invested more than $30 million in 70-plus innovative cleantech and renewable energy startups since its founding in 2006. At E8, John also coached entrepreneurs how to make effective business pitches to angel investors and venture capitalists. Before joining E8, he worked in green construction and ran an off-the-grid hydroelectric plant in Washington’s Cascade Mountains.
Mike is a Missouri-educated professional contractor, manufacturer, product developer, and business manager with nine U.S. patents primarily for energy-related inventions. He is president of Emerald Operations LLC, a consulting firm focused on green building technologies and agriculture, and a Farm Team member. Mike was previously president of Watts Radiant, a public company with $55 million in annual revenue that manufactured and sold hydronic and radiant floor heating systems to Home Depot, Costco, Lowe’s, and HVAC distributors. He serves on the Springfield-Greene County Park Board and Ozarks Regional YMCA Board and was formerly a member of the Board of Public Utilities, Ozark Regional Land Trust, and Ozarks Greenways.
